Anyone with a camera can take a photograph.
But photography is not just taking pictures, at least not for me.
Photography is capturing moments and making memories.
Photography is about telling a story, a story that can be told with just one photograph or a series of photographs. The story may be about people, places, things, animals, plants, or something imaginary.
When you retain me as a photographer the first thing I do is talk with you so I can get to know something about you. I ask a lot of questions because I want to learn as much as I can about you, the occasion or event. The more I know, the better I am able to tell your story. That's very important to me because I love learning about people and hearing their stories – your stories.
My goal is to capture an image or a series of images that says something about you, the occasion, or event. It doesn't matter if it's portraiture, a wedding, a senior picture, a family portrait, or a photo shoot for a musical group, singer, actor, or model, my approach is to produce an image or a series of images that best tells the story of the event or uniquely captures the client.
